This workshop focuses on one of Portugal’s best-loved sweet icons: pastéis de nata. On arrival, the group is welcomed into the space and guided through the entire process, from making the custard to assembling the tarts and putting them in the oven. Everyone learns the traditional recipe and the key points that make all the difference to the final result, with close guidance and clear, accessible instruction—even for those who never cook.
While the tarts are baking, the atmosphere naturally shifts into a relaxed moment of conversation, with a glass of wine shared among colleagues. The experience includes the full workshop, continuous guidance throughout, and a tasting of the pastéis de nata made by the group.
Guests arrive at the scheduled time and step straight into the workshop setting. The session starts with a clear explanation of the recipe and a demonstration of the essential techniques, followed by the hands-on part, where each participant gets involved at their own pace. Preparing, assembling and watching the tarts take on their golden colour in the oven creates a relaxed, collaborative team dynamic.
For groups of up to 20 people, the experience runs all at once. Larger groups take part in rotations, ensuring comfort and dedicated attention at each stage. The session wraps up informally with a tasting of the tarts while they are still warm, and that shared feeling of having enjoyed a simple, cultural moment together as a team.
As an optional add-on, the journey itself can become part of the experience. Rather than standard transport, we propose routes by tuk tuk, e-bike or Spinach, creating arrivals that feel dynamic, relaxed and in tune with the pace of your team-building programme.
This experience is optional and tailored to each group. The start point, end point and timings are chosen by the client, giving full flexibility when shaping the day. It becomes a shared moment that sets the tone for what comes next or keeps the conversation going after the table, unhurried and uninterrupted.
