This workshop invites the group into the world of Portuguese azulejos—one of the country’s most distinctive expressions of craft, culture and heritage. The experience includes an introduction to the history, patterns and significance of azulejos, followed by a practical session where each participant paints their own tile. Guidance is close and straightforward, designed to unlock creativity without requiring any previous experience.
A glass of wine is served during the workshop, helping set a relaxed, sociable tone. At the end, each participant takes their tile home as a keepsake. With the traditional painting option, the tiles are kiln-fired and delivered afterwards, fully finished.
Guests arrive at the scheduled time and step into a setting designed for focus and easy conversation. The session starts with a clear introduction to azulejos, traditional motifs and the techniques used. Then it is time to create: each person works at their own pace, with brushes, colours and ideas shared around the table.
The dynamic is calm, collaborative and naturally engaging. For groups of up to 20, the workshop runs all at once; larger groups take part in rotations, ensuring comfort and dedicated attention throughout. The session ends in a relaxed way, with everyone’s pieces complete and the shared feeling of having enjoyed a cultural, creative and meaningful moment together as a team.
As an optional add-on, the journey itself can become part of the experience. Rather than standard transport, we propose routes by tuk tuk, e-bike or Spinach, creating arrivals that feel dynamic, relaxed and in tune with the pace of your team-building programme.
This experience is optional and tailored to each group. The start point, end point and timings are chosen by the client, giving full flexibility when shaping the day. It becomes a shared moment that sets the tone for what comes next or keeps the conversation going after the table, unhurried and uninterrupted
